Well I just finally got my 5d and decided to take it out for a lil -*test*-('") drive this past weekend and try to catch the sunrise with it. I am going to seriously need to toy with this cam to get to the point where I feel comfortable with it. Anyways, shot this at Cherry Creel State Park outside Denver. What I missed was the 2 Eagles perched high in the tree on the right, which my girlfriend noticed last night. They can barely be seen in the full size of this shot, and to think I now have a lens that could have gotten them ...sigh....spose I will just have to be aware of my surroundings a tad more from now on as I have never done bird shots before.

Minolta 5d
18-200 DT lens
iso 100

Looks like you're off to a good start, despite missing the Eagles. smile.gif

For a second there I thought you were talking about the Canon 5D, with a full-frame aspect ratio. I was about to be really jellous. biggrin.gif But that's probably a bit pricey for both you and I. wink.gif
