Very nice shot, you did well on this one. I do have one suggestion---straighten that water line so it's even, I think that is all that is needed here. Great shot, you did well!

However, being new to the photography thingsome of the buzz words allude me.
So could you explain "straighten the water line"?
Or is this another way of saying make it level?

I love shooting the ocean as well, it's never the same twice.

Where was this shot at? I know we dont have rocks like that here in the Carolinas

I shot this on the strand in Dana Point, California.
I agree with the constant change of the ocean being exciting but even more it’s intoxicating.
I think for this very reason sailors consider the ocean their first love and mistress.

I spent a lot of my time surfing here in my younger days but even thought I can’t surf anymore I still find the ocean drawing me back.
