Yesterday I took a lil photo excursion up along the Peak To Peak Highway here in Colorado. Upon coming back towards Denver, I drove through Central City/Blackhawk. Found a lil dirt road leadin outta town and low and behold! I stumbled upon Boot Hill! The real deal at that, long forgotten! The towns have quite a wild west history and today are gambling towns...here are 2 shots...both o my Minolta 5D, 18-200 DT lens

Awesome weather you guys are having there! These shots look like slide film with the contrast and saturation. smile.gif I really like the composition on that first cemetary shot... I think the "Central" is a bit stronger than the "Rocky Mountain" because of the diagonal lines and perspective, whereas the second is more of a straight-on shot. Although the lighting in that second shot is undeniably SWEET! smile.gif

Both beautiful shots, as I've said before. They give you two different feels here. The first one has more of a welcomeing feel. I think it's because the darkness of the clouds in the second one. Kinda ominous. Great capture on both counts.
