FINALLY getting around to doing PP work on my shots from Rocky Mountain National park 3 weeks ago. And wanted to share this one with ya all. Comments & critique welcomed.

I went ahead and bracketed in -/+ 2ev, f22, 18mm, 1/6th second, iso 100
Minolta 5D, Minolta 18-200 DT Lens, Singh-Ray CPL, processed in PS, HDR inside Photomatix, and RAW thru Raw Shooter. Sharpened with FM Intellisharpen

Wish I was up here now, with how dang hot it's been lately lol

Can't go wrong with that composition. I like the beautiful colors and saturation. Looks like you've left the clouds out of your sharpening, which is something many people forget to do (I'm guilty, due to laziness most of the time XD). Looks good, as it keeps those clouds soft, like they're supposed to be. The trees look a tad over-sharpened to me, however. Overall, a beautiful shot. A pleasure to look at.

Is that still snow I see up there at the top? Must be nice up there right now. smile.gif

I don't like this one as much as many of your others. Its still a good shot, I just don't know about the stream. I dunno if its the position or what. It just seems off to me. But, as I said, still a nice shot.

As stated previously the composition is wonderful. However, for me, something seems off. Perhaps the contrast is too strong for me. The trees and stream especially seem to bring it out. I can't tell if it's the contrast or the sharpening. Other than that, it's a beautiful shot. smile.gif
