I'm trying to get my mum to grow some flowers for photography, she just thinks I've picked up an interest in home gardening!

hehe... thats one major reason I started putting in so many different flowering bushes in my own yard. Look through the gardening magazines and find some with some really pretty things that grown in your area, so you can plant to shoot them when they attract birds and bees and butterflies to them

You might find you enjoy the landscaping aspect as well
